Washoe County, Nevada Opens Investigation: Provisional Ballots 2020
Why were there a possible 2,900 errors in provisional ballots in Cold Springs?
After a meeting (video) between Washoe County Manager Brown and Nicholas St Jon on July 6th regarding 2900+ provisional ballots cast in Cold Springs, Nevada cast on election day, November 3 2020, Nicholas St Jon “found out today that they are opening an "investigation" from the internal audit team tomorrow (July 14, 2022) based on the Provisional Ballots Errors Report… with SoS (Secretary of State) oversight and the report will go to the SoS.”
Cold Springs is a community in northern Nevada with a population of about 9600+. For 2900 people to cast their ballots all on one day is an anomaly. St Jon began asking questions and finally obtained a meeting with the Washoe County manager.
Since this is the first time St Jon has been through this process, it’s hard to know what to expect. Attached to this article is the Provisional Ballots Errors Report identifying the anomalies found.
St. Jon also has some demands (from the original report):
“Demand: An Item be put on the June 21, 2022 Agenda to have a discussion on these findings and to have an investigation be opened looking into all these questions, anomalies, errors and concluded before the 22 months deadline to destroy all election data.
Place a “stay” on the destruction of all vote information in Washoe County to preserve all 2020 General Election data/information/paperwork.
Stay tuned! We’ll follow up as information is made available.
