Supreme Court: Brunson Case Denied
What's next?
This morning, the Supreme Court denied the Petition filed by Raland Brunson. He posted: “The Petition was denied. We will now make our next move. A petition for reconsideration. Hang in there everyone.”
If you were not following the case, the Brunson brothers had two identical cases in the lower courts. Raland Brunson’s reached the Supreme Court in what they described as “miracles” along the way. Briefly, they asserted that 100 plus representatives requested an emergency audit of the results of the 2020 election in the disputed states on January 6, 2021. At that time, Cruz stated: “We are acting not to thwart the democratic process, but rather to protect it.” The audit would have been a brief 10 day period still allowing the inauguration to proceed depending on the findings.
The Brunsons assert that the 385 representatives violated their oath by ignoring the request for an investigation. They were not claiming fraud in the case. The Supreme Court denied that request today.
