Spotlight on: Oscar Williams-State, Legislative, and Local Elections Watchdog
2nd Hour: Stories of 2023 that mattered, Senate debate coming up, Ranked Choice Voting and will we own nothing and be happy?
In the first hour: Oscar Williams, Reno resident and a self-described “State, Legislative, and Local Elections Watchdog” recently submitted an amicus curiae brief to the Nevada State Supreme Court in support of the case Beadles vs. Rodriguez, et al. Williams got involved with the Washoe County Republican Central Committee a couple of years ago, serves on the Election Integrity Committee and is the director of the Resolutions Committee for the Washoe County Republican Central Committee. You will see him at state election workshops and senate and assembly committee bill hearings. He makes comments at those events, writes letters to his elected officials, and opinions to news and blog sites. He has a keen knowledge of Nevada’s election laws and flaws. Tune in the first hour to hear Oscar’s story. (Yes, there’s more ;-)
In the second hour: 2023 is only 15 days past but there are still stories we should remember. There’s a Nevada State Senate Debate this week, Ranked Choice Voting is a topic that you cannot forget and we’ll talk about the idea that we might all own nothing and we’re supposed to be happy…do you think that’s really possible?
