Spotlight on: Brenda of Xquisite-Freedom Center

Second hour: More Rank Choice Voting; current events; new releases on the horizon

Stories come in many forms, some positive, some negative. For the survivors of abuse who find Xquisite, they discover the people in the organization believe “no matter what life has presented, a survivor’s value remains strong, diamond strong.” The mission of the organization, a 501(c)(3), is “to bringing freedom and empowerment to survivors of sexual exploitation, sex trafficking, sexual assault, and domestic violence to live healthy, flourishing lives. Brenda Sandquist, the founder and executive director is passionate about her work. For her, doing nothing is not an option. She joins Janice and Ed on What’s the Story?/Book Hound in the first hour.

In the second hour, more on Rank Choice Voting, an initiative that will be on the ballot in November 2024 in Nevada. We’ll talk about who might be the next Speaker of the House and other current events. Another new release is right around the corner. Tune in to find out more.
