Spotlight: Colleen Westlake Candidate for Washoe County School Board District B
In the 2nd Hour-Michael Wald Author of Why Didn't You Call? A Peace Corps Panama Expose'
Colleen Westlake is running for Washoe County School Board in District B. We love to hear the “stories” of candidates aside from the political aspect. Today will be no different, but we will ask Colleen about the attack she received from a tweet from former Reno City Councilwoman Jardon who referred to Colleen and others as “…antisemitic hatred and extremist candidates…”. It is all part of the story.
- Election news and plenty of it. Challenges were filed. How did the Registrar in Washoe County respond? True the Vote founder Catherine Engelbrecht and contractor, Gregg Phillips have been arrested. There’s a lot going on!
-Ed Noel gives some updates on the financial world from “his view”.
- Michael Wald joined the Peace Corps and wrote a book about it. Why is that important? He was no youngster when he joined. He was 55 and his wife joined too. He’ll share his story in the 2nd hour to talk about his book, Why Didn't You Call? A Peace Corps Panama Expose'.
- Don’t miss our “word of the day” and the “Book Blitz”.
