We are living in crazy times.

Unless you live under a rock, you have to be wondering what in the world is happening? Venezuela has an election, and the clear loser claims victory, Paris puts on a show that looks like a mockery of The Last Supper and an afront to Christians, but “nothing to see here”. I read posts on Next Door that said this was “artistic”, not about the Last Supper. But the Olympics organizer “apologizes”…sort of. The President who is pretty much AWOL right now (except for him wanting to change the Supreme Court) is going to stay in the race! But wait, he got Covid and is now going to pass the baton to his VP. And she had no popularity the day before, but now has over $50 million in donations via Act Blue (known for smurfing in some camps, by the way). And Trump was almost assassinated and had a clear win to the Presidency but now he and his vice-presidential pick are “weird”. But there are a bunch of “White Dudes for Harris”.

So our show today will be a little of all of it. And in the second hour, we’ll talk about publishing, writing books and some trends in the “biz”.
