Liberation Day on Whimsical Wednesday

Liberation Day!
Wikipedia describes it as “…the date of either a revolution, as in Cuba, the fall of a dictatorship, as in Syria, or the end of an occupation by another state, as in the Netherlands, thereby differing from original independence day or creation of statehood…”
Whether you like him or not, President Trump is a “master marketer” and has mainstream media talking about Liberation Day in America.
Headlines read:
“Another top bank is ringing the stagflation bell as tariff 'Liberation Day' nears” from Business Insider;
Reuters reads: “Factbox-US businesses brace for more pain as 'Liberation Day' tariffs loom,” and Marketwatch announces:
“Why Trump’s ‘liberation day’ tariffs might miss their No. 1 target”, all of them signaling doom and gloom. Even politicians can’t help themselves:
“Hakeem Jeffries: ‘This Is Not Liberation Day, It’s Recession Day’…”
That’s just some of what’s out there so far. With all the warning different countries have had about the tariffs… which is what each outlet is talking about ad nauseum, we all know about Liberation Day.
After all the fearful headlines, at about 9:30ish Pacific Time, here’s the Real Clear Politics headline:
Ontario Leader Doug Ford Says Canada Is Ready To Take Down All Tariffs If U.S. Does The Same
So, we will see where this leads, right?
