If You Voted but Did Not Vote...
Publishing Perspectives says: "200 Million Americans Want to Publish A Book..."
If you live in Nevada, you may be aware of the confusion around the Presidential Primaries. There was a Presidential Preference Primary paid for by the taxpayers to the tune of approximately $5.3 million in which Democrats and Republicans could participate and also a Caucus…but only for Republicans, paid for by Republican candidates. To make this explanation more confusing, the Republican candidates had to choose between the Presidential Preference Primary and the Caucus. They could not participate in both. BUT…the only way to get delegates was to participate in the Caucus. So, when on Saturday, February 17, 2024, I received a post in a private group I run that said their voting history said they voted (and they had only caucused) their was a sudden flurry of activity online and in my email box.
On Sunday morning, my phone rang with a call from Christina Schwanke, who does not live or vote in Nevada; I don’t remember her exact words but it was something like, “What the h - - - is going on?” Well, good morning to you too, my friend! Join us at 3 p.m. Christina join us too (online, not in studio) to share her thoughts. What happened that caused thousands of Nevadans (and apparently people who don’t live here) to show a voting history as having voted when they did not? How will this reconcile with the upcoming elections? Can Secretary of State Aguilar provide confidence in the upcoming election?
In the 2nd hour, we’ll talk a little ranked choice voting but then switch gears to publishing. A lot of people want to publish a book. Are you one of them?
You won’t believe what is being blamed on climate change…
