250 years of it... It's all about the story!

We are at a critical point in our nation. 250 years ago, the founders of our country took an enormous step toward changing their lives and those of their friends, neighbors and children. I don’t recall what it was like for the 200th anniversary. I was busy being a mom and doing what moms do. So, when I see others in our nation not feeling the importance of this 250th celebration of our nation, it is not surprising.

We all view anniversaries, birthdays, and other celebrations in our own way. Sometimes it is not something you view with joy and celebration. Sometimes it is a time of reflection. It is awesome to see the many nations around the world joining with the United States to celebrate. With all the political division, what a great thing to experience.

For me, I am thrilled to enjoy the freedoms of our country. I hope you enjoy it too. God Bless America!
